The building management as well as the Embassy conduct security checks (baggage scanner, metal detector).

The Philippines are regularly hit by monsoon-like rains as well as typhoons, which can cause floods and dangerous landslides. The main season for typhoons is from June to December, peaking between July and October.

A Storm warning signal number 3 or higher may result in significant traffic disruption, air traffic restrictions and closure of all public buildings.

Also, the RED Heavy rainfall warning can be expected to cause significant impairments and closures of public facilities.

Follow weather reports regularly and watch out for storm warnings from the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

As we take the safety of our visitors and staff very seriously, the German Embassy Manila will be closed when a Storm warning signal number 3 or higher is raised over Metro Manila.

For the opening hours in case of heavy rain or other disaster warnings, please refer to special announcements on our website www.manila.diplo.de and monitor our social media accounts.

If the Embassy is closed and you have an appointment with the Embassy, the relevant section will contact you regarding rearrangements or rescheduling.
