The Certificate of Good Conduct, sometimes referred to as a “police check” or “criminal records check”, is issued by the Federal Central Register (Bundeszentralregister) of the German Federal Office for Justice.
Applicants residing outside of Germany can apply online if they are bearer of a German Personalausweis with online identification. In all other cases, applicants are required to have their personal data certified on the application form. This certification can be obtained at a Philippine Notary Public or the German Embassy in Manila. The Embassy’s fee for such an identity certification is 34,07 EUR – to be paid in cash in PHP-equivalent or by Visa / Mastercard.
The certification of the personal data can be obtained during the Embassy's service hours from Tuesday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 9:30 am. An appointment is not needed.
The Certificate of Good Conduct is available in German language only. Further information as well as the application form are available through this link: https://www.bundesjustizamt.de/EN/Topics/FederalCentralCriminalRegister/CertificateofConduct/CertificateofConduct_node.html
