The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Manila intends to fill vacancies by June 2025:

Assistant in the Visa Section (locally employed)

The task comprises of receiving visa applications at the counter, providing information regarding visa related questions, entry of data into the Embassy’s IT-based visa program and further proceedings of the applications.

Requirements for the position:

• Relevant professional experience or a degree issued by a university or other institution of higher education
• Fluency in English and Filipino (oral and written)
• Knowledge of German language (oral and written)
• The ability to use IT-based word processing programs (MS Word, Excel and Outlook) and the willingness to work with new IT programs
• Professional and pleasant personality and the capability to work in a service-oriented manner within a team and even under a heavy work load

• Full-time position (38.5 hours/week)
• Initial temporary contract of one year with possible extension option
• Local employment contract with salary according to the Embassy’s Salary Scheme
