My visa application was rejected. What does the stamp in my passport mean?
The stamp in the passport of the applicant is a processing stamp, which indicates that the application was processed by the Visa Section of the German Embassy, and – as of April 5, 2010- a legal remedy. This stamp does not have any effect on future applications that may be submitted at the German Embassy and other Schengen-Embassies. Every visa application is decided anew due to the current circumstances.
